Our task was to create a questionnaire with five questions to ask around the college on the subject of our choice, this was to find out different age groups and how long they spend on social media daily. My primary research shows that more males use social media than females. Also looking at my results the most amount of time spent on social media is between 1 - 4 hours a day.

Overall, This is my analysis on my social media questionnaires. I was very surprised, at the results that the most amount of time spent on social media was between 1 - 4 hours This may suggest that the people who use social media may have an addiction to their electronic devices such as their phones or computers. I also was surprised to find that the most common and popular use of social media is Twitter, the other popular ones are Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram.

Another result we found is that most people who use social media are people who use their phones, not surprising as majority of people are walking down the street on them. People use social media for all kind of things, the most popular being watching videos on sites and apps like YouTube or getting information.

Reflecting on this, the biggest question that I asked was: "Do you think that social media is bad for young people's health?" Personally from experience, I think that social media can have a negative attitude on younger people as more and more young children suffer from depression, anxiety, DDOS and suicidal thoughts. This is because you can simply send a message from behind a screen and possibly from the other side of the world. It is also easy to have younger people get into situations and thoughts like these because it can be done in so many ways and on so many platforms. This could just be simply trolling or in an extremely unlikely case, real-life threats. More reasons of why it could have a negative impact on younger people is the amount of time they spend on it, an hour or two a day is fine if they're going on it constantly for over 4 hours a day, that's a little bit concerning and like I said earlier, could possibly be an addiction to their electronic devices.

  1. Analysed fairly well, some evidence of your survey would also help this section. Graphs for results or infographics for visual stimulation.
