Deconstruction of Music Video

This music video I have chosen to deconstruct is from an artist called JUMEX and the song name is  TRAPPED  released 2018 the link has been provided dow below

The concept of this music video is a mixture of concepts and animation. It starts off with a bed with a cartoon face of the artist, then transitions into a white background with the artist sitting in the corner (real life). For the first 30 seconds, the video cuts quickly between the cartoon version and the real artist. Then, the title of the song pops up, followed by the real artist, and the artist changes his hair colour, then as the beat builds up there are strobe effects on screen, to mirror the beat of the music. The camera spins around quickly with the artist on the bed and appearing insane. This helps to portray the song title "Trapped:. In the middle of the video, the artist is alternately shown sitting on the bed and dancing. He is also singing in sync. with the lyrics which means the video becomes performance video. The artist is then shown in a white box, which may convey the fact that he is trapped. The video then goes crazy, with the strobes, the shot spinning around and the artist dancing maniacally. Then it cuts to the ambience of the room and then fades into another of Jumex's song, "Loner". This video is DEFINITELY not suitable for epileptic people as there is a lot of flickering and flashes in this music video which might trigger their disorder. In the music video, a variety of different camera angles and shots have used some examples of these are: close up angle shots, full-length shots, and mid shots for which these are essential for this type of music video. Personally, I liked the video because it is extremely different as this song has different aspects that modern-day artists don't include, therefore this makes this artists stand out to me more form the rest with the use of the engaging hair colour change as well as the flickering of the screen whilst the artist jumps around in the box.
